NOTICE FOR MINING PERMIT AND ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION APPLICATION BY BAUBA MINING PTY LTD

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations of 2014 as amended, published in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) No. 107 of 1998, notifying and inviting the public to register and participate in the EIA process for environmental authorization (EA) application for a Mining Permit lodged in terms of the MPRDA (Act No. 28 of 2002).
Nature of Activity: Bauba Mining (Pty) Ltd has applied for a Chrome ore and Platinum Group Metals Mining permit on Portion 08 and 09 of the Farm Zwartkop 369 KQ, in the Magisterial District of Waterberg (Thabazimbi).
Basic Assessment Process will be undertaken for the above property. The Environmental Reports will be available for public review from 20 October 2026 ending on 20 November 2026. The reports will be circulated to all registered interested and affected parties.
