CROSS FARM ATTACK Two suspects arrested 

Thabazimbi – Two suspects, believed to be involved in the farm attack on the Cross family, were arrested on Tuesday 8 October by members of the Heritage Protection Group (HPG) together with the Tembisa and Hoopdal police.

Peter-Murray and Megan Cross and their two children were held at gunpoint, assaulted and tied up on their farm in the Matlabas area just outside Thabazimbi, as reported in the Platinum Bushvelder issue of 28 September.

Two hunting rifles, a Baby Browning pistol, jewellery, ammunition, a cellphone, as well as the vehicle that was used during the attack was found in the possession of the culprits.

The police are still looking for three more suspects. Investigations continue.
