R5,000 bail granted in minor-touching case

Platinum Bushvelder newspaper | Thabazimbi – A man accused of inappropriately touching a minor appeared before the Thabazimbi Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 24 August 2026, and again on 28 August.

He faces allegations that he touched a primary school child’s breasts and buttocks.

The accused was granted bail of R5,000.

The case has been postponed to Tuesday, 29 September 2026, for further investigation.

The allegations have not yet been proven in court, and the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
