Yet another delay in long-running child assault trial

Platinum Bushvelder newspaper | Thabazimbi – The long-running child assault trial involving Ria Oberholzer, Petrus Oelofse and Jesica Hull has been postponed once again.

The matter appeared in court on 27 August 2026 but was postponed to 12 October 2026 for further testimony.

The trial began in March 2024 and has since faced numerous postponements.

All three accused remain out on bail.

They face charges including sexual assault, child neglect, and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
