Inspiring the youth through soccer

Thabazimbi – Although plagued by personal challenges, Petrus Osekwang actively plays his part for the youth of Thabazimbi. He invests his time in enriching the lives of local youths. Osekwang started coaching local kids from 2017. He sits next to the field, every day, and coaches more than 60 kids from his wheelchair.

 “I want our kids off the streets, doing something productive. We keep them busy and develop their soccer talent,” Petrus said in an interview with Platinum Bushvelder.The children practice every day from 15:30 to 18:30 in 13th avenue between Hoërskool Frikkie Meyer and Micromatica. Anyone is welcome and there are no costs involved. It is great fun!
