Graveyard maintenance

Northam – Readers of the Platinum Bushvelder were so delighted that the Thabazimbi Local Municipality had cleaned up the local graveyard that they sent the newspaper 23 photographs of the achievement.

A team of about five workers armed with bush cutters cleared the tufts of grass and trimmed the trees. With the forecast of rain residents with loved ones resting in the graveyard are urged to visit soon before the vegetation regrows and the guinea fowl and snakes return.
