Have some respect! 

Thabazimbi – Imagine this… You are a business owner, but as soon as you arrive at your business premises very early in the morning, you have to play hopscotch with beer bottles and human faeces left for you the night before. 

To make things worse, you have to start your day by cleaning this mess. This is how my day starts out daily. 
I am a business owner in Van der Bijl street in Thabazimbi and I am totally disgusted by the fact that people are so disrespectful to others. My business is right across from the Thabazimbi Local Municipality, so it is visible from their offices, but they just turn a blind eye. I will never understand their lack of pride. They do not clean the streets, even it is right within their line of sight. 

There is a shebeen in very close proximity and nobody does anything about the fact that people continue to buy alcohol there. Not only does their clients buy alcohol there, but they also allow the customers to leave with the alcohol, leaving the streets and my business area full of their bottles. 
The grass on the municipal area next to my business remains uncut, except if I pay someone to cut it. I pay my taxes. Why should I pay extra for this? 

Please, out of respect for this town, for me as a business owner and for yourself – pick up your rubble and throw your bottles in a trashcan. I can count multiple trashcans from the front door of my business. Please use a bathroom! 

My front door is where my employees and clients enter. My front door is where I make money to help improve the economy of Thabazimbi. My front door is not your toilet or trashcan.
