Hats off to Portia

Northam – Vodacom Limpopo region marketing specialist Portia Mbokazi received the top performer enhanced award during Vodacom’s award ceremony on Friday 18 September.

Her role in the company is to drive the public relations and corporate social investment strategy with external service agents, media, and other key role players to ensure that the brand objectives are met. 

She has worked with global multinational customer accounts from initiation to completion. Her work includes identifying opportunities for mobility, fixed unified communications, security, cloud, and hosting and IOT, through outbound social selling and marketing campaigns thereby helping to build the sales pipeline.

This motivated and inspirational woman aspires to be a global citizen capable of working in a digital and agile environment.

Part of her success at the company is her drive to provide an unmatched customer service experience thereby gaining a competitive advantage. Her passions are customer engagements and application of technology which motivates her to keep abreast of technological and consumer trends daily.

Research and analytics are second nature to Portia, and she is often involved in 
charitable work.
