Don’t stop praying for baby Barnard

Thabazimbi – Platinum Bushvelder has been following the development of baby Jhaun-Lee (JL) Barnard since his birth on Friday 8 November 2019.

This little bundle of joy came into the world with serious kidney challenges and it has been an uphill battle for this new family since then. With each complication piling up, the Barnard-family refused to lose hope and did everything in their power to ensure that their baby boy gets the best possible care.

Miraculously, baby Barnard was placed on a medical aid. Times are still strife – financially and baby Barnard’s one kidney is getting weaker.

“We would just like to thank the community for all their help, support and prayers this past few months. Without you, we are not sure that JL would have survived up to now. We will never lose hope and we ask everyone to please keep praying,” said JL’s father JP Barnard.

JP also said that JL is picking up weight, slowly but surely, and that the family trust that God will protect their baby. Let’s keep baby Barnard in our prayers.
