Bodies of two newborns found at dumping site

Thabazimbi –  The Thabazimbi community is shocked by the discovery of the bodies of two newborns on Monday 24 January at the Thabazimbi dumping site.

According to CLA911 spokesperson Zandré Pieterse the babies, one male and one female were wrapped in a blanket and had already passed away when CLA911 responders arrived at the scene.
“This was a horrible thing that happened and completely unnecessary. I plead with anyone who ever considers doing something like this to please look at other options. 

“There are so many alternatives that will not result in the death of an innocent child,” Pieterse said.
Police spokesperson Titus Khumalo confirmed that a case of concealment of birth is being investigated. 

He requested anyone with information to please contact their nearest police station.
Thabazimbi active station commander captain Abel Thapela strongly condemned the incident.
