Help baby Barnard

Thabazimbi – Little Jhuan-Lee Daniel Barnard was born on Friday 8 November. This little bundle of joy came into the world with serious kidney problems. 

Parents of children who suffer from chronic kidney diseases have many questions and fears. 
For Jhuan-Lee’s parents, JP and Nelia Barnard his well-being is their number one priority, so they took him to see to a urologist in Pretoria.

Thanks to God and all the donations Jhuan-Lee is almost three months old now, and his parents are grateful for every second they have with him. Unfortunately, he is currently very sick and must spend a week in the hospital every month where he receives the necessary medication.

He currently weighs approximately 2.6kg and only when he reaches the 10kg mark will he be able to undergo a kidney transplant.

Fuel costs to and from the hospital is a grave concern to the Barnard-family, not to mention the various medical equipment and medicine the parents simply cannot afford.
