Help baby Jhuan Lee 

Thabazimbi – Little Jhuan-Lee Daniel Barnard was born on Friday 8 November. This little bundle of joy came into the world with serious kidney problems. 

Parents of kids who suffer from chronic kidney diseases have many questions  and fears. 
For Jhuan-Lee’s parents, JP and Nelia Barnard, his well-being is their number one priority. In an interview with Platinum Bushvelder, JP said: “To ensure that Jhuan-Lee got the best possible treatment, our doctor referred us to a urologist in Pretoria, doctor Johan Venter. We love our son and will do anything for him.” 

The diagnosis was not favourable and there is still a very long and expensive road ahead for this young family.

Jhuan-Lee needs to visit the specialist every two weeks. Fuel costs to and from the specialist is a grave concern to the Barnard-family – not to mention the various medical equipment and medicine the parents simply cannot afford.
