ROAD REPAIRED

Thabazimbi – After reaching a point where motorists would rather drive next to the road, than on it, concerned residents decided ‘enough is enough’.


They put heads and muscle together, rolled up their sleeves and filled the massive potholes scattered on the 1.2km stretch of road between Medivet Dierekliniek and Akasia Park. 


The repairs started Thursday 17 October. Residents in the area contributed approximately R40,000 to bags of tar and Quick Civils supplied the labour. The Thabazimbi Local Municipality contributed an additional 70 bags of tar.

Community members and Quick Civils employees worked hard to repair the road.
