Hear the engines roar!

Thabazimbi – The Thunder Tour is celebrating their 10th annual tour in South Africa.

From humble beginnings in  2010 with 17 V8 powered muscle cars, street rods, rat rods and supercars, the Thunder Tour has grown to over 70 vehicles participating in the spectacular seven-day tour through South Africa.

The 2019 tour participants stopped in Thabazimbi on Monday 5 August to stretch their legs and show off their cars before heading to their next stop.

This year’s seven-day route kicked off at Cars in the Park in Pretoria. They then stopped in Rustenburg, Thabazimbi, Lephalale, Tzaneen, Mbombela, Frankfort and will end the tour in Bloemfontein.

In an interview with Platinum Bushvelder media representative of Thunder Tour Wouter Botes said:

“This tour is great fun for all motor enthusiasts. It gives owners of these beautiful-powerful vehicles the opportunity to take their cars on the open road and feel the muscle.”
