Ubank presents The Power of U!

Northam – On Friday 28 June, UBank hosted ‘The Power of U’-event at Northam Lapa. The aim of the event was to educate and empower unemployed youth of Northam and Thabazimbi.

Motivational speaker and area branch manager for Ubank Northam, Olga Solomon, was the first speaker of the day. She spoke about ‘The Power of U’. She explained that there is power in a positive mindset and that you can create a better future for yourself by applying your skills.

Subjects like small medium and micro enterprises (SMME) support, business plans, financial grants, business funding, network marketing, forex trading, financial planning and growing wealth, as well as the importance and purpose of having a qualification, were discussed by various speakers.

On 29 June, U Bank donated soup and rolls, veggies and fruit to the children of Royal Baptist Church in Regorogile.
