LOCAL SOCCER CLUB SHINES IN PORT ELIZABETH

Northam – Local football club, Rens Galactico’s, made the Northam community proud when they competed against three other teams in a tournament hosted in Port Elizabeth from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 June.

The u/12 team was the runner-up in their division and the u/14 and u/16 teams both took fourth place in their respective categories.

“I am proud of our players. It was their first tournament so far from home and they shined on and off the field.

They played their hearts out! I couldn’t be prouder. The welcome we received in Port Elizabeth was fantastic and I am so grateful for their hospitality,” said coach Kurt Rensburg.
