MAN FATALLY SHOT IN ROBBERY

Northam – The Northam Police are investigating a case of murder, robbery and car hijacking after a 36-year old man was fatally shot on Friday 24 May.

According to police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, an unknown number of suspects approached Mataboge Abel at approximately 20:50 in an attempt to rob him. He was overpowered and fatally wounded. 

The suspects fled the scene in Mataboge’s Mercedes-Benz.
