Thabazimbi – With winter tightening its grip, the Thabazimbi Homeless Shelter has launched an urgent blanket drive to help those in need survive the cold months ahead.

“If you have any extra blankets, warm clothes, or shoes — especially for babies, children, and the elderly — please consider donating,” says Beverly Spira Kühn, founder and board member of the shelter. “Items don’t need to be new, just clean and usable. Even one old blanket can mean a warmer night for someone without a home.”

The shelter’s stocks are low, while the need is growing daily. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter or arranged via Beverly on 078 403 1813.
