Furry Friends in Need: how you can help Thabazimbi’s Rescue Animals

Thabazimbi – As we step into 2025 with renewed hope and community spirit, Thabazimbi Animal Rescue (TAR) is reaching out for support to help care for animals in need. With a heartwarming mission to provide shelter, medical care, and love to rescued animals, TAR has put together a wish list to ensure their furry friends are well taken care of.

The rescue organisation is in need of the following items:

• Dry dog and cat food (adult and puppy)
• Plastic containers (large and small)
• Plastic shopping bags (for pooper scoopers)
• Old blankets, sheets, and towels
• Flea and tick control products
• New brooms
• Pooper scoopers
• Pet carriers

Founder and vice-chairperson of Thabazimbi Animal Rescue, Tania Stone, emphasises the importance of community contributions: “Donations towards our veterinary bill at Kransberg Dierekliniek for treatment and vaccinations are also greatly appreciated. Please, if you can donate something, it would help a lot. We mainly depend on donations from the public.”
