Zintle Wildlife UNVEILS NEW ERA OF ECO-FRIENDLY DEFORESTATION with WUHLF Mulchers

Thabazimbi – In an eye-opening demonstration on their premises, Zintle Wildlife farm in Thabazimbi hosted about 100 local farmers to showcase the power and efficiency of the latest WUHLF Mulchers. 
The event, held on Thursday 25 January 2024, focused on the capabilities of the 960-2 and 930 Mulcher models, emphasising their role in sustainable deforestation.

The demonstration aimed to illustrate how these advanced Mulchers outperform traditional methods, offering a more ecologically friendly approach to land clearing. Unlike conventional methods, the WUHLF Mulchers not only clear the land but also contribute to maintaining soil health, an aspect crucial for sustainable farming.

Craig Williams, the owner of Zintle Wildlife, shared his experience, “With these new Mulchers, I cleared 180 hectares, witnessing remarkable regrowth. The Mulcher maintains soil moisture effectively. For anyone with substantial farmland, I highly recommend this equipment.”

Coert Steenberg, the manager of WUHLF, emphasised the local relevance of their products, “Our Mulchers are manufactured in South Africa, tailored for local conditions. They finely chop trees, creating a protective mulch layer on the ground. This helps retain soil moisture, accelerating grass growth – a significant advantage over traditional debushing methods.”

The highlight of the event was the comparison between traditional deforestation methods and the WUHLF Mulching technique – massive differences! 

Traditional methods involving bulldozers resulted in piled-up branches and disturbed soil, whereas areas cleared with WUHLF Mulchers showed a layer of mulch that promoted better grass growth due to undisturbed soil.
