Northam Rhinos ready to charge UJ! 

Setaria – The Northam Platinum Rhinos Rugby Club is gearing up for an exciting friendly match against the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Varsity Team. This highly anticipated game is scheduled for Saturday 3 February 2024, at the Rhinos’ home ground, Bushveld Park in Setaria. Kick-off is at 14:00.

In addition to being a spirited contest, this match holds special significance for the Northam Platinum Rhinos. It serves as part of the club’s rugby trials, offering a unique opportunity for emerging talent to showcase their skills on the field.

In a special announcement, Cronje also highlighted that several Rhinos players will be participating in the renowned Cape Town 10’s. This event, taking place from 2-3 February 2024, is a testament to the talent within the Rhinos squad. The Cape Town 10’s, co-founded by rugby legends Bob Skinstad, Robbie Fleck, and Ron Rutland in 2008, has grown from a rugby-centric tournament into a celebrated multi-sport event.
