How is it possible?  [Letter to the Editor]

Given the ongoing water crisis in Thabazimbi, it’s challenging to comprehend how a two-person household could accumulate a monthly water bill of R2,000. My records clearly indicate frequent requests for water from trucks, as conventional water supply is rarely available. This situation raises the question: How is a bill of R2,000 being generated? I am aware that we are not alone in facing this issue. I strongly encourage all residents to photograph their water meters and meticulously track the readings to better understand and address this discrepancy.
