Damasa delivers electric performance at SA Dance School Championships

The 2023 Championship division is always fiercely competitive, as only the finest young dancers take part. Numerous exceptionally talented dancers vie for the top titles. Nonetheless, Damasa excelled, and are immensely proud of every dancer who gave it their all.

Results as follows: 

• 7-8 years Jazz category: Aliyah Fernandes 3rd place.
• 7-8 years Hip-hop category: Aliyah Fernandes 1st place.
• 9-10 years Lyrical category: Leané Oosthuizen 13th Place and Sermei Bornman 15th place.
• 9-10 years Acrobatics category: Leane Oosthuizen 8th place.
• 9-10 years Hip-hop category: Danell Maree 5th Place and Sermei Bornman 6th place.
• 9-10 years Hip-hop Trio category: Danell, Sermei and Isabella got 2nd place.
• 11-12 years Hip-hop category: Kgolagano Oagile 3rd place and Isabella Ferreira 6th place. 
• 11-12 Lyrical category: Martelize Groenewald 13th place.
• 16-18 Contemporary category: Elizca Lamprecht 17th place.
• 16-18 Hip-hop category: Natalie de Castro 2nd place and Kieran Soares 7th place. 

In several of these categories, more than 20 talented dancers vied for a position. For such a modest dance school to achieve these placements is an immense source of pride. Well done!
