Rhinos bow out of semifinals with a narrow defeat

Setaria – On Saturday 30 September 2023, a thrilling semifinal showdown in the African Rainbow Community Gold Cup league, the Northam Rhinos squared off against the College Rovers at Kingspark in Durban. 

Despite putting up a fight, the Northam Rhinos faced a narrow loss, with a final score of 19-21 in favour of the Rovers. 

Flip de Kok, chairperson of the Northam Rhinos, said: “This match concludes our rugby season for the year. The team will now take a well-deserved break and rest for six weeks before preparing for next year’s challenges.”
