Northam Rhinos triumphantly advance

Setaria – In a thrilling quarter-finals match held on Saturday 23 September 2023, Bushveld Park reverberated with cheers as the Northam Rhinos Rugby Club faced off against Uitenhage Progress Rugby Club. The result? A compelling 53-14 victory for the Rhinos, marking their third straight game surpassing the 50-point threshold in the Gold Cup.

Key players made their mark during this memorable game. Chaney Willemse, Khwezi Mkhafu, Maverick van der Merwe, Patrick Hattingh, Percy Williams, PJ Bezuidenhout, and Alfi Adams all showcased their skills on the pitch. Among them, Willemse charged through for a try, while both Mkhafu and van der Merwe dominated with a pair of tries each. The spotlight was on PJ Bezuidenhout as well, not only for his try but for his impeccable precision, converting four crucial tries.
