A heartfelt Christmas feast at Thabazimbi Homeless Shelter

Thabazimbi – This Christmas, Thabazimbi Homeless Shelter stands as a beacon of community spirit and compassion. Spearheaded by its founder and board member, Beverley Kühn, the shelter will host a festive Christmas dinner that promises both warmth and camaraderie. 

Beverly passionately invites everyone, emphasising, “Whether you are young or old, or perhaps spending Christmas alone, our doors are open to all.”

The highlight? The Christmas feast is free. Guests can relish the meal at the shelter or opt for a takeaway to celebrate in their own special way. To ensure that there’s plenty of festive cheer to share, kindly RSVP to Beverly Kuhn at 078 403 1813 by 30 November 2023.

For those wishing to sprinkle extra magic on this celebration, contributions are warmly welcomed. Items needed include: gifts for children aged 2-6, a variety of beverages, desserts, sweet treats, watermelons, custard, bread buns, butter, chicken, mincemeat, non-pork roasts, green beans, ingredients for potato and curry noodle salads, rice, onions, tomatoes, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, gravy, ice, and pumpkin. Assistance in packaging takeaways is also appreciated.
