Fire chief brings fun and learning to BabbelBekkies Crèche

Thabazimbi - On Thursday 17 August 2023, BabbelBekkies Crèche was abuzz with excitement as WildMed Emergency Services fire chief and Thabazimbi Fire Protection Association (Waterberg District) fire protection officer, Henk Havenga, paid a special visit.

The day wasn’t just about meeting a real-life hero. The youngsters gleefully discovered the essential role of firefighters, all while enjoying interactive learning. From understanding the significance of fire safety to seeing a firefighter’s gear up close, the children’s laughter and curiosity filled the air.

BabbelBekkies Creché would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Havenga and WildMed Emergency Services. Their generous contribution transformed an ordinary school day into a memorable experience for the children, blending fun with crucial safety lessons.
