Man dies in hunting accident

Northam – Freek Kloppers (30) tragically lost his life on the evening of Tuesday 6 June, allegedly due to a hunting accident.

The victim’s wife, Megen Kloppers (25) was arrested for culpable homicide, and for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

“Megen Kloppers appeared before the Northam Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 8 June, where her case was remanded to 14 June,” said Limpopo provincial commander of SAPS media relations colonel Malesela Ledwaba.
