Vehicle overturns on R511

Thabazimbi – A Hyundai with three occupants overturned on the R511 just before the Rooiberg turnoff, approximately 15 km from Thabazimbi, on Friday 24 February 2023.

Thabazimbi Fire and Rescue (TFR) responded to the scene and discovered one person with serious injuries and two with minor injuries. The person who was seriously injured was transported to hospital by Trauma Rescue.

TFR would like to urge motorists to check their tyres, flicker lights, engine fluids, spare wheels, and lights before embarking on a trip.
