Stabbed to death in Matikiring Duo remanded in custody

Thabazimbi – Two men accused of murdering Jabu Mokhumo in Matikiring (informal settlement) were remanded in custody when they appeared before the Thabazimbi Magistrates’ Court.

Circumstances surrounding the death of 32-year-old Mokhumo, who was stabbed to death at around 04:00 on Sunday 3 October, are being investigated.  

Police spokesperson Titus Khumalo revealed that the two were arrested on 4 October and charged with murder.

“The two suspects will be back in court on 26 October for a formal bail application. Ongoing investigations will shed more light on the murder,” Khumalo said.
