The Rhinos are back in business!

Northam – The Northam Rhinos made a dramatic comeback after they beat UP-Tuks in an epic match on Saturday 9 October. Emerging as the victors, the Rhinos ended with a score of 27-21. 

They managed to score five points with their four tries, but it was their strong defence against the UP-Tuks’s forwards that sealed the deal. Things started to go wrong for the home team when Chaney Willemse was sent off for ten minutes with a yellow card.

When Willemse returned, the score was 21-15 and things were turning in the favour of the opposing team, but the two tries by flanker Patrick Mathe and Percy Williams was the final blow to keep them in the lead.

With this win, the Rhinos positioned themselves in the number two spot of the Carlton points ladder boasting with 42 points.
