Small gesture, big rewards

Thabazimbi – After the drastic increase in Covid-19 cases, Thaba Fire and Rescue took it upon themselves to help curb the spread.

On two occasions, Saturday 19 June and again on 27 June, they took to the Thabazimbi streets to sanitise. During the first sanitising operation, the team made sure that the parking lots, walkways around shops, and all main roads around shopping centres as well as SPAR, Shoprite and Pick n Pay trollies were sanitised.

For round two they sanitised the medical practices, pharmacies, private hospitals, laboratories and again the Shoprite trolleys. They also received a generous donation to sanitise Tambotie Care Centre.
