Truck brings traffic to standstill

Thabazimbi – A truck swerved off the road and landed in a ditch on the Amandelbult road at the turn better known as ‘Stinkdraai’ just outside Thabazimbi on Thursday 6 May. Traffic came to a standstill as it took several hours to pull the truck out of the ditch. 

“We urge the community to not overtake at the Stinkdraai curve. It is dangerous and impossible to see any oncoming traffic. We apologise for any inconvenience caused while closing the road off,” said Thabazimbi Traffic Department senior superintendent Jimmy Molapiso.
