No bail for farm murderer

Thabazimbi – The man suspected of killing Christine Robinson reappeared in the Thabazimbi Magistrates’ Court for his bail hearing on Thursday 29 October.

Christine was a British national living on a farm near Thabazimbi where she was attacked and murdered on 31 July 2014. She was stabbed several times before the murderer cut her throat. The 30-year-old employee who is suspected of the murder was finally arrested on 31 July 2020 on the sixth anniversary of the brutal murder.

During the hearing, community members took a stand outside of the courthouse with banners and signs. The suspect’s bail was denied.
