From Thabazimbi to Dubai – Jaden needs your support!

Thabazimbi – At just 15 years old, Jaden Heyneke, a talented cricketer from Hoërskool Frikkie Meyer, has been selected to join the u/15 cricket squad touring Dubai this December for the prestigious Dubai T20 International Cricket Tournament.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will expose Jaden to some of the best coaching, international competition, and world-class cricketing facilities. It is not only a chance to sharpen his skills but also a stepping stone toward his dream of excelling in the sport he loves.

But getting to Dubai comes at a cost. The full tour package is R63,990, which includes flights, accommodation, meals, and tournament fees. To make this dream a reality, Jaden and his family are appealing to the community and local businesses for donations and sponsorships.

“Supporting Jaden is not only an investment in his personal growth but also in the future of South African cricket,” says his proud mother, Gwennie. “We would be so grateful for any assistance the community can offer.”

The family hopes that, with the support of Thabazimbi and surrounding areas, Jaden will be able to step onto the international cricket field in December, proudly representing both his school and his hometown.
