Man in hot water for possession of pangolin

Thabazimbi/ Regorogile – A 44-year-old man arrested in Regorogile on Friday 21 January for the illegal possession of a pangolin, has been granted bail.  

Rodolf Khumalo was charged with the possession of a special protected species without a permit during his initial appearance before the Thabazimbi Magistrates’ Court. He was released on bail on Friday 28 January. 

Said police spokesperson captain Ananias Modise: “He is due back in court on 18 March 2022.”
