Long-running child assault trial moves to November

Platinum Bushvelder newspaper | Thabazimbi – The child assault trial involving Ria Oberholzer, Petrus Oelofse and Jesica Hull has been postponed to 10 November 2026 for further trial.

The matter was previously scheduled to continue on 12 October, following a postponement on 27 August. The trial began in March 2024 and has faced numerous delays.

The three accused face charges including sexual assault, child neglect and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

All three remain out on bail and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
