MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR OF THABAZIMBI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY TO THE MATRIC CLASS OF 2026

Dear Class of 2026,

As you prepare to write your final National Senior Certificate examinations, I wish to extend my heartfelt best wishes and encouragement to every matric learner across Thabazimbi Local Municipality.

This is the moment you have been preparing for throughout your schooling journey. The road has not always been easy, but you have persevered, and now you stand at the final stage of your school career. I encourage you to remain focused, disciplined and confident. Believe in yourselves, trust the preparation you have undertaken and give every examination your very best effort. Do not allow fear or pressure to distract you from your goal.

Remember that matric is not only about obtaining a certificate. It is about opening the door to your future – whether that future takes you into higher education, skills development, entrepreneurship, employment or other opportunities.

To our parents, guardians, teachers and school communities, thank you for the sacrifices, guidance and support you have given our learners. Your encouragement remains an important part of their success.

To the Class of 2026, your future is in your hands. Make the most of every opportunity, stay committed to your studies and finish this journey with determination and pride. On behalf of Thabazimbi Local Municipality, Council and staff, I wish you strength, wisdom, courage and success in your examinations. Go out there and make Thabazimbi Local Municipality proud!

All the best, Class of 2026. Cllr Andries Tshukudu Mayor
