Thabzimbi/ Regorogile –The member of the executive council (MEC) of Corporate Governance Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA) in Limpopo in partnership with the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) and High Point Trading 263 as a sponsor, handed over the keys of a brand-new house to Maria Sokutyifa on 10 December.

Maria is a young girl and the head of her household. She takes care of her uncle and mentally impaired brother.

“My father and mother both died in 2008 and I had to take care of my family. With this house, our whole life will change, and I will forever be grateful for what we have received,” Maria Sokutyifa told Platinum Bushvelder.

The company that constructed the house, High Point Trading 263, is a 100% female owned Innovative Building Technologies (IBT) company. The company has constructed a five-bedroom home in Regorogile.

In an interview with Platinum Bushvelder, co-owner of High Point Trading 263 Sinnah Masisi said: “We saw the need of this specific household and I approached them. It means a lot to us to be able to give back to the community.

I want to thank God for being able to give us the resources to be able to help other people. It is our duty as Christians to help other people.”
