Target shooting day hit the mark! 

Thabazimbi – On Friday 21 March 2025, the Koos Cronje Shooting Range in Thabazimbi came alive with excitement as marksmen and families gathered for the Ysterberg-Thabazimbi Target Shooting Day – a fantastic way to celebrate a public holiday together as a community!

With a wide variety of shooting ranges – from long rifles and shotguns to handguns and .22 calibre events – everyone had the chance to test their aim and focus in a safe and friendly environment. Even the little sharpshooters showed off their skills in the .22 Junior division, knocking down those plate targets like pros. The competition was fierce but fun!

Between the shooting sessions, the smell of braai filled the air and the social buzz around the fire kept spirits high. Refreshments and braai packs were available, and the vibe was as good as the weather – sunny and full of smiles.
