Join the Thabazimbi Blood Drive!

Thabazimbi – This Valentine’s season, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) invites the community to give the most meaningful gift of all — the gift of life. On Wednesday, 5 February 2025, a blood drive will be held at the NG Church in 10th Avenue, Thabazimbi, from 14:00 to 18:00. The dedicated SANBS team will be traveling all the way from Rustenburg to make this life-saving initiative possible — thank you for your commitment!

“As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, it’s an opportunity to reflect on how we can extend our love beyond our immediate circles and make a difference in the lives of others,” says Rustenburg SANBS clinic supervisor Tshegofatso Mulwane. “I will be in Thabazimbi on Wednesday, and I encourage the community to come and donate. The process takes only a few minutes, and every donation can help save lives.”

First-time donor John Selomolela shared his experience: “I was nervous at first, but then I realised that I am doing this to save lives. I will definitely donate again to help those in need.”

This February, let’s go beyond flowers and chocolates — let’s spread kindness, hope, and life. Whether you’re a regular donor or considering it for the first time, your donation can change lives. Join the SANBS blood drive and be a hero in someone’s story!
