Thabazimbi – The Thabazimbi Police are investigating the rape of a 12-year old girl that occurred on a farm near Makopa on Monday 17 June.

The suspect, allegedly a local priest, came to the victim’s home to pray with the family. The priest, according to the police report, lured the 12-year old child to a nearby river, saying that the child had a problem with her knee and had to be held in the river’s water to be healed.
